Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that your child and you may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children’s needs, and it is our goal to make your son or daughter feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

The first visit is all about your child: his or her comfort, happiness, and health

During your son or daughter's first visit, we will review the dental and medical history and perform an oral examination. If appropriate, we will suggest taking X-rays. Dr. Seidman will review his findings, create a treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. We may clean and polish teeth and apply a fluoride varnish as a part of this appointment, or schedule that procedure for a different day.

Bring your youngster’s smile, but also remember to bring these to the first appointment

  • Your completed patient information form (if you haven’t previously submitted one electronically)
  • Your insurance card

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Dental Association all recommend that children visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy.

We understand your family has a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing for a dental visit, please remember an appointment can last between 20 and 40 minutes.
